About this Event

Most biotechnology companies are built around a single disease. Trethera is built around an untapped biological pathway that offers multiple shots on goal.

Trethera’s drug, TRE-515, is a first-in-class oral therapy targets dCK, an enzyme in the DNA salvage pathway that is highly active across many solid tumors, autoimmune diseases, and inflammatory disorders. Rather than pursuing a portfolio of products, Trethera is advancing one mechanism that has the potential to work across multiple indications.

TRE-515 completed Phase 1 dose escalation in over 30 patients with advanced solid tumors and subsequently received FDA Fast Track designation for metastatic prostate cancer. Encouraging observations from an FDA-authorized Expanded Access patient supported initiation of an ALS trial (n=6) at Massachusetts General Hospital. TRE-515 has also received an Orphan Drug designation for optic neuritis, inflammation of the optic nerve which typically causes vision loss and pain with eye movement.

Join our executive briefing with Trethera Chairman & CEO, Kenneth A. Schultz, MD, who will share how their “pipeline-in-a-product” strategy allows each successful indication to increase the value of the same core asset without requiring development of an entirely new drug.
